When money is no object, as ita is for many famous TV personalities, vacations are often extravagant and spare no expenses. For example on the beautiful Island of Ibiza in Spain, one can frequently see recognizable television personalities mingling in well known clubs filled to capacity with famous and not so famous folks who love to party.
Likewise, the Island of St. Barts, or Saint Barths as some like to call it, is an ideal spot for those television notables that wish to spend idle time in a pristine setting that is relatively and refreshingly undeveloped. Rather than sleeping in massive resorts, the stars enjoy stays in private villas for rent with sectional couches for lounging, which are laced along the gorgeous hillsides throughout the island. Some stars love the island so much they have purchased homes in nothing sort of fabulous beachfront locations.
Jetting off to Paris is a frequent “must do” for many wealthy television actors. Much like New York, the people of Paris believe that a person’s private life, no matter how famous, is nobody’s business. Therefore, stars can mix and mingle with the “common folk” without being hounded for autographs or followed endlessly by adoring fans.
Much like Paris, the people of New York could care less if you’re famous or homeless. As a matter of fact, the homeless generally receive more kindly attention than do famous personalities. There are a number of super stars with permanent homes on one of the 29 islands that make up the Bahamas, but don’t plan on driving by to catch a glimpse. Their homes are well concealed with high levels of security to ward off curious spectators.
Young and restless television stars find Rome a romantic and comforting getaway spot to relax and enjoy the culture, take in the sights and enjoy delectable meals at one of many famous wine bars and restaurants.
Other notorious vacation spots for TV personalities include New Orleans and Miami, where partying is a favorite pastime and nights never end. Many stars visit these two hot vacations destinations to drink, dance and have a good time. Of course, after a hard night of partying, some stars enjoy a ride on the Mississippi River in New Orleans or a peaceful nap on the pristine shores of South Beach in Miami.
Finally, believe it or not, some stars find comfort in returning to their roots by taking a trip back home. There’s nothing quite like a visit with Mom and Dad to deflate the most inflated egos.
